Directions
Using the A1
Take the A1 all the way to Washington Services.
Keep in left hand lane at Junction 65 and continue forward on the A1 (signposted Gateshead, Newcastle)
Continue for 10 miles on A1 passing the Metrocentre and along the Gateshead and then Newcastle Western bypass.
You will reach aroundabout where you need to take the 2nd exit onto Ponteland Road - B6918 (signposted Kingston Park)
Another half mile to roundabout, take first exit onto Kenton Bank (signposted Woolsington)
Continue forward onto Ponteland Road B6918 and continue on this road by taking 2nd exit at next roundabout.
Another quarter mile turn right onto Brunton Road, you will see the ground on your left.
Using the A19
Take A19 to outskirts of Sunderland, passing junctions for A690 and A183.
On crossing the River Wear bridge (Sunderland bypass) on A19, branch left, then at roundabout take 1st exit onto Sunderland Highway A1231 (signposted Gateshead)
Stay on A1231 for @ 5 miles going through Washington, keeping in left hand lanes and following signs for Gateshead and Newcastle.
The road then merges with A1 and continue along the Gateshead and Newcastle Western bypass.
Follow directions as above.
